Dreaming of Spring!

I just laughed the other day when I was cleaning out Austins school folder and came across this artwork he made at school.  I said, "I thought we are to be learning here!!!!"  He is dreaming of spring baseball games and cannot wait to play ball!!!!

And with Daylight Savings Time having us change our clocks, we are still sleepy in the mornings.

Mike made his way to the newspaper!  He's been on the coaching bench for the boys basketball team and he really enjoyed it.  Sitting beside these other two men is an honor!!!!  Love it!

You never know how you will find Mommy D when I drop by for a visit.  She was very tired here and I tried to wake her up and say hello but I'll try again!

We went to Meg and Mel's baptism and that afternoon we met cousins at the park!  It was a lovely day to be outside and Austin is ready to hit some balls!!!!

I took Lena out for her birthday and Little Miss Zayla went along.  We ate lunch at Gracies and then stopped by a greenhouse!  Everything is looking so nice!!!!  Then we grabbed some seeds at Royers!

I'm ready to start working in the garden but the weather has been chilly.  Still dreaming of Spring to come early!

Spring pots!

This basketball team is on a roll and doing well!  We just keep going to the games after win after win!

I was happy to see she was awake and talkative this visit!!!!!  Love this lady!

Mike and I got invited to the Daniel Premier at Sight and Sound and it's always an honor to come to their shows and with this hot man beside me, it was a fun night!!!!!!  The story of Daniel is amazing.  I was reminded of all the hard, difficult things in Daniel's life that he had to face.  We get the whole story and know the ending of his surviving the lions den but in real life, he didn't know that.  He knew God could spare him but would He????  Incredible show!

Spring vibes are starting with some blooms at the park and Easter candy on the kitchen counter!

Well, those seeds I bought the other day did make it in the garden soil.  I planed the radishes, red beets and hull peas!

These carrots are still from last year!  Sunny enjoyed it!

The herb box is a favorite and these chives are the first to show up ready to eat!!!!

The Warriors did well and got to the game before the big game.  They lost but played good!  Only losing by 12 points was better than last years points.  Basketball is now over for this season and we are thinking about all things baseball now.  We are so proud of you Warriors of 2024!!!!

I just love some Spring inside the house!!!!!

This is a project that was on going all fall and winter!  We added a roof to our back porch and had a fireplace built on the end.  We are excited to finish this project and use it over and over again!!!!

I don't like when I don't get a group photo but we celebrated the March Sister's birthday on Monday and it was my first time eating at Poured Out Cafe.  Delicious!!!!  Totally would love to go again!

Then we stopped at a greenhouse and I can't wait to add lots of greens and ferns to the back porch this summer!

Happy Dance!!!!!

I walk at the park and the daffodils are stunning right now there!  I noticed this one flower growing outside the box.  Sometimes I need to think outside of the box more often!

I stopped to visit Mommy D again and grabbed her some tulips.  Greenhouses are just starting to burst and love it!!!!!  Mommy was so tired and opened her eyes a few times for me but when you stop for a visit and she's like this, it's hard to talk.  She's just so tired some days.  Happy Easter Mommy D!!!!

Spring is here but the weather is really chilly this week.  I did mow the lawn once to make it look like Spring grass and not winter grass anymore and the porch pots got filled with some curly willow branches and spring flowers but I'm ready to plant some lettuce one of these days!!!!  Enjoy the Spring days!!!!  The earth is starting to bud and burst with greens and new growth!

Happy Spring!!!!

Hello March!

We turned another page in the 2024 calendar friends!!!  The winter months are mostly behind us and it feels like Spring is on it's way!  The weather has been pleasant last week and we are back to school, work and keeping house.

After coming back from Florida, I couldn't wait to go see Mommy D again.  When I walked in to see her, Mommy D's sister and niece walked in behind me.  I love to see these sisters together!  They really are best of friends even though they are 88 and 87 years old!

This is now March and it will be soon be time to plant seeds!  I stopped by a greenhouse the other day just to take a peak at the plants they have started!  I am excited to soon be planting the garden and working outside!

Austin's class did a great job with their chapel last week!  Hearing them say that Jesus is more important than .... baseball cards, toys, phones, treasures, was so neat to hear!  I love how school plants these good seeds and Christian values into our children minds and hearts!

We cheered on the boys basketball team as they won their game to take them next to the Giant Center!

We went with the boys team up to Hershey to play in the District Finals at the Giant Center last week!  Mike is part of the coaching team and it was exciting to have him be part of this celebration!  It really is honor to be watch these boys play basketball here!  Adrian went along too!  What a blast!

I had Mike take a picture of the young men that played here just one year ago at this same spot in their District game!  The boys won!!!!!  We are champions again!

The girls made it to the Giant Center to for Districts and Mike, Ashlyn and I went buzzing up the center to watch their afternoon game on Friday.  School dismissed at 1 PM both Thursday and Friday to let any students and parents go watch!  We had such a fun time!!!!

The girls won too!!!!!  Way to go Warriors!!!!

I made my second stop on Saturday to grab myself a pack of these daisy's.  The weather is so nice that I want some Spring flowers in the kitchen!  It's these simple touches that make me excited for Spring time!

I did it!  I got my ears pierced.  The girls have been wanting to take me to the mall to get this done when we were in Florida but it didn't happen.  Hadassah and the littles and I went to Park City and had a fun night at the mall.  I got pierced ears and they got a chair massage.

On Sunday, we witnessed Megan and Melanie's baptism!!!!  What an honor to hear their testimony and hear them say that they have decided to follow Jesus!

Then some of us went to the park to hit some balls because the weather was absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Spring will be here soon!
