Hadassah was baptized yesterday!!!! It was a decision she made earlier this summer and after taking five classes of wonderful bible teaching, she was prepared to make a public confession of her sins and share her faith!
Hadassah wrote out her personal spiritual journey in a few short paragraphs and shared it during the baptism service. It was really special how each teenager has a different story but yet they are all wanting to serve the Lord more and more! Making a stand for Jesus is one that will be challenging, hard at times, peaceful, joyful and so rewarding!!! Mike and I couldn't be more proud of the stand Hadassah took on her baptism!!!
There were five in the baptism class and each one of these are dear people in our church and family!
Pastor Ben ...
In some countries, to have this happen out in public would send one straight to jail. Proclaiming to love and serve Jesus with all their hearts is so wonderful to see and experience. It's a spiritual blessing! I have pictures of all these except for Hadassah because Mike and I were up with her while she was sharing and getting baptized! I hope someone got some pictures for me!!!
I did hand Vic Mike's phone as we went up front and asked if he could take a few pictures of us! They are not of great quality but precious and neat! Look at that sun and rays from God coming down on us!
"Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life." Romans 6:3-4
Mike spoke a blessing over Hadassah and prayed for her!
"Washed by the blood of the Lamb!!!"
And my good friend Sherry did get me some pictures of Hadassah being baptized! Thank you lady!!!
Courtney, Maliea & Hadassah ...
These two have stuck together through thick and thin and I'm so happy that they got to experience yet another mile stone together in life!!! Love you girls!!!!!
Sharing her story!

"That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in the true righteousness and holiness." Eph. 4:22-24
There was a fellowship meal after the service and we were so grateful to have so much of our extended family join us for the baptism and meal! We had lots of compliments of how wonderful it is to have family support! We are so blessed!
Hadassah and her friends played volleyball and games until dark outside. The adults sat around a campfire and chatted! The evening was perfect and the glory of the Lord was all around us!
I am so thankful to have our first teenager take a stand for Jesus!!! Mike and I have prayed ever since she was a baby that this day would become real! We are so proud of you Hadassah and we want to be here for any spiritual guidance but what we really want is for you experience God! Listen to Him. Hear His soft voice. Don't let down your convictions and don't give into peer pressure. You are beautiful inside and out! Let your light shine for Jesus!
We love you so much!!!!!
