Kansas City Chiefs VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
We are Chiefs fans here and were over the top to watch them make it all the way to the finals and then first place last year!!!! So, when the Chiefs made it to the finals again this year, we were sure to invite some friends over, fry up some chicken wings and make some bean dip with chips!
Matt and Lena and their family and Merv and Juanita joined our little party! Jeremiah and Hadassah came after half time and joined the fun! The kids played while us adults watched! Most of us were Chiefs fans but Hunter wanted Tom Brady to get another win. Either way, we were all about the game!
The Buccaneers scored first and just had the Chiefs trying to catch up the entire night. The Chiefs just didn't get a thing started for themselves and lost.
So close ... but it's just a game. I know it's real life for these team players and family members but for me, it's a game and all I want to say is, "We will get them next time!"
Austin is a Patrick Mahomes fan! He asked for a Patrick haircut and so last week when Ashley cut his hair, he was so excited! But when he realized that his hair isn't gonna be curly on top, he came off the barber chair in tears. He wanted a head band like Mahomes. A mouth piece like football players have! Austin was excited to watch the Chiefs play and watch Patrick Mahomes play in the Super Bowl.
