Hot days of summer!

 The heat is here and summer time is warm!!!  We stay cool in different ways.  Bryce was over one afternoon and the boys hooked up the sprinkler to the water slide.  They had a blast!

Another way we stay cool is going to the pool.  We went a few times but always got chased away because of a thunderstorm.  This week, it's hot and sunny and the kids got sun on their skin!  We drank a lot of water and enjoyed the pool!

Eating cold foods helps stay cool too!  Austin went along with Matts to pick the older boys up at summer camp and so Mike and I took Aeri and Ashlyn for rolled cold ice cream.  Ashlyn loves this and it's a special summer treat now and then!

With the summer tempts soaring, we are very blessed with AC in the house!

Stay hydrated!  Austin new favorite is PRIME!  Stay cool!      

Happy 4th of July!

 

Happy Fourth of July, friends!!!!  We went to Lititz to watch the best fireworks once again and loved it!!!!!  They put on the best show around in opinion!

There's no way I can describe the awesome firework show other than ... WOW!!!  Just so good!

I love the country and nation that I live in!  We need more of God and stand up for truth!  On a day of celebration, I pray for our nations leaders more!  I pray for repentance!  I pray for my own life and that I can be an American citizen to make a difference for the Kingdom of God!  Our freedom didn't come free!  Thank you to all that sacrificed their lives, their time, their desires to make this nation a great nation!

July is here!

 

Wow, July is here!  This is a really busy month for us!  We've got lots of events on our calendar!  Fireworks, celebrations and cabin trips!!!  We are super excited for it all!!!!

We spent July 4th Weekend at the cabin with most of my family and had the best of times!!!!  Austin celebrated his birthday and is now 8 years old!  I bought some party goodies from Amazon and with a table full of cousins, we had a party!

 

Mike prayed a blessing over Austin and we love that he is our son!!!!

The men always have some sort of project going on.  Today, the wood shed got restocked!

Jeremiah was working on his food plot and Ty and John Mike were helping him!

While the men worked, the children played!!!!

Someone is super excited about his birthday gift!!!!!  And Hunter and Adrian called to say happy birthday!

We saw the bear a few times!  That's always a highlight!

We played croquet golf!  Teams!  Mike and I are not very good and we even got upset at each other's hits now and then but we ended up winning the one game!

Plans were to head to Gelton to watch the fireworks on Saturday night.  When we mapped it out, it was too far, the weather wasn't looking great and we decided to stay at the cabin to play games and enjoy the glow sticks in the dark!  So funny!!!!

We went from baseball decorations to graduation decor to Fourth of July!

Mike made a driveway up to our piece of land we purchased and dad was helping him!  That tree stump had to go!!!!

Days spent at the cabin are always the best!!!!  We relax, we work, we play, we eat well and stay up late!  It's the best life!!!!!

LaVern's bought four small pools and the kids played pool wiffleball!  Another fun event!

We drove ahead of a rain storm on the way home.  We followed the rainbow for miles!  I don't ever remembering seeing it rest on our house before!  We are so blessed!
