15 mile bike ride.

 

We made it!!!  We biked over 7 miles from Ephrata to Lititz with church friends.  Ashlyn and Austin woke up early to go with me and friends for a bike ride.  The trail was lovely but our bikes are not for road riding ... so we found out!!!!  We laughed after it was all over but boy did we work our butts off!

We all got breakfast at Tomato Pie in Litiz because it was only 8:30 by the time we got there!  The kids each ordered a peach spritzer!  Refreshing!

We started off strong but had to stop for a few quick breaks now and then.  We concluded that I had the worse bike but the best seat.  Ashlyn had the best bike but the worst seat.  Austin just biked!  

It was cool when we began but warmed up perfectly on the way back!

The rainbow French toast was perfect for Austin!  We had wonderful food!  I wasn't sure we would make it back in one piece.  Our legs were tired.  Our butts were sore and this was harder than I expected!

This was almost at the finish line!  I'm so proud of these kids!  They pressed through and biked to the very end!!!!

Here's to something new, something fun and even something we had to strive to the end!!!!  Cheers to a fun ride!
