We are still walking the park paths and I can't wait to watch this tree turn into autumn beauty! Watching the seasons change at the park has been such a wonderful thing to watch!
Mommy D was awake and I handed her one of her watches they she used to wear. A while ago, she was asking for a watch and after going through her house items, I took one of her's to her and she put it on her wrist. Hard telling if she will keep wearing it. Things seem to go missing when there are so many elderly to keep track of their belongings but she's got a watch now again. She is still holding this doll that some days she thinks is real and other days she just holds it. When you fight dementia, nurses try to find a way to keep her busy. This doll has given her something to care for!
The eighth graders are praying for God's leading to where they should go for a mission trip. I love receiving these photos from school! Not every school sends out a group of eighth graders on a mission trip!
These girls have really become best of friends over the years!!!!!

This season is coming to a close and Ashlyn has done a really good job at pitching for Empowered this season. Ashlyn decided to join a girls baseball league and she only knew a few girls on the team when she began but now has new friends and we are still waiting for these girls to win a game but until then, we cheer loud!!!!!
It's the first of Autumn and I'm excited for this season!!!! I love pumpkin smells, pumpkin tastes and all the fall things! We are now reaching for sweater layers and blankets in the evening while sitting on the back porch. I love this new season!
This season has begun also and we are cheering on those Chiefs!!! We are off to a good start!
We are beginning a new study at church with the ladies and I'm excited to go through the 1, 2 and 3rd John this fall! There's much a study and learn!
It's raining!!!!! We are in need of much rain. It's so dry. Today was such a gift when the rains came! The garden hose will not be used today. We still have lettuce, radishes, flowers, herbs and two new apple trees to plant! Earlier this spring, our apple tree was loaded with apples and the wind took it down. I was so sad to see it lying on the ground but now we bought two more at Weavertown School Sale on Saturday and I can't wait for Mike to plant these in the garden area!
The raindrops on the elephant leaves is pretty!
We had so many caterpillars in the garden munching away on our carrot leaves and now we have a cocoon on the back porch and a pretty butterfly!!!!
Lapps is putting a float in an upcoming parade and I bought lots of pumpkins and mums for the display! It's gonna be fun! We see many pumpkin wagons in our neighborhood selling all shapes and sizes of pumpkins!
Hot radishes are ready in the garden!
We are butchering a pig for the first time! Keith raised pigs and we are getting it butchered! I can't wait to have bacon and sausage in our freezer.
It's fair season and some classes from school got to go on a field trip to watch some of their classmates show the pigs they raised! I got to go along and really enjoyed it! The weather was warm and we ate fair foods!
Austin couldn't wait to eat a funnel cake. We walked through the barn to see more animals. Field trips like this is really fun!
September has been so beautiful with the most perfect weather! Today, it rained and that is a huge blessing to our thirsty land! I love fall season!
