Ready for Spring!

I am ready for Spring time!  Last week, we had a few days in a row that were in the 70's and it felt amazing!  The warmer weather and sunshine gives me so much energy!  I wanted to do all the things!!!  I walked out to the garden and hoed the dirt.  I pulled out my tulip bulbs from the barn and got them planted into a pot!  It's so amazing to me that something as simple as a bulb that has no brains, starts to sprout and turn green in the spring!  I can't wait for these to pop through the dirt and display some color in the garden!

I sat down with my seeds catalog and wrote down plants that I want to plant and grow this year.  I make a simple drawing of how I want the garden to look.  A lot of it stays the same from year to year but I just like having a visual of the garden.

I save these same old branches every year and every spring they get stuffed into a pot of soil on the porches!  Spring please come soon!

Mike and I cheered for the girls basketball team and what a fun win for coach!  100 wins!

We've had a few days of teasing spring weather!  70 plus degrees for two days straight and I wanted to do all the outside things!  I hoed the garden beds!

The neighbor kids were all around the tree in the field across from our house trying to smoke bomb out a ground hog!  Of course, the boys in our house had to go help too!

I took my list of seeds to Royers and bought some packs!  Now I just need to wait till it warms up a bit and plant some radishes, carrots and lettuce!

Every day walking at the park is wonderful!  But today we see the flagstaff at half staff because of a police officer was shot and killed.  So sad!

Got the rake going in the back yard and there's so many sticks and pine needles and yuk in the grass.
Not anymore!

We are in the new workout gym for my weekly workout class I attend!
It's lovely and so nice to have the doors wide open!

Hadassah and I love to thrift together and it's been so fun to go to Goodwill and see what we can find!

Baby dear is watching the boys in the back yard throwing baseballs!

Mike and I are honored to be part of the Joshua Premier at Sight and Sound!  The show is incredible!
Go watch it!!!!

Austin's been having fun making new friends on his spring baseball team!  Instead of practice, they met at a pizza shop and watched the World Classic Baseball game!

My favorite basketball player is still wearing number 14 and we went to watch Matthew play last night!

The weather is cold and even a bit of snow fell on the ground last night.

Today is St. Patrick Day!  I love to read the origin of the holidays we celebrate and they usually always have a good meaning!  Today, we will reread about Patricks missionary opportunity and drink an Irish coffee!
