Happy Birthday Daudy Lapp!

Last night we all gathered for supper at Mike's Uncle and Aunts for supper!  They invited the whole Lapp family, plus extended Aunts and Uncles.  The food was excellent and we all sat around a campfire trying to keep warm on this June night.  The weather patterns have been so odd!  Our Spring never seemed to end and now summer doesn't want to start with warm tempts.  We are holding our breathe that one of these days it will probably get hot and stay hot for awhile.

Linda brought balloons and in celebration of Dad Lapps birthday, we all sent balloons up to heaven.  We miss Daudy Lapp so much and as the first year anniversary of Dad passing is coming up, it feels good to know that we made it through all those many firsts!

 

 

As the balloons were left go and they all went up towards heaven, Mom Lapp started singing, "How beautiful heaven must be!!!"

Some shouted out, "Happy Birthday, Daudy Lapp!!!"

 

Ashlyn and Sophia sobbed at Daudy's graveside.  It was so bitter to his casket being lowered into the ground and then covered with dirt.  Here they both had their arms wrapped around each other and just watched the balloons go into the sky!!!  So precious!!!

Happy Birthday, Daudy Lapp!!!  We miss you so much!!!
