Lapps Christmas.

Christmas was much more relaxed this year with having our family gatherings spread out much more than usual.  I liked it this way!!!  We had Christmas Eve and Christmas Day right here at home.  Sunday morning, the house was in need of a good cleaning up!  I got hit by a bad cold and was sneezing so much! Everyone but Mike decided to stay home and watch church online.  After lunch, we watched some football and then went outside for some fresh air and exercise.  The day was spent again just right at home!

Monday, we got dressed up in our Christmas clothes one more time and spent the day with Mike's family! Mom Lapp had the family over for lunch and it was delicious!  Because it was on a Monday, and the date changed, it didn't suit everyone perfectly.  Jer and Hadassah had to both work.  Lena and Linda were both sick and couldn't come.  Some others just dropped in and said hello.  One thing we learned over the past year and half is that if you are sick, stay home!!!

Mom's lunch was so yummy!  She gave everyone a gift.  We sang some carols together.  Then we played Four Up and Four Down.  The cousins had a real blast and the house looked a mess till evening.  We had a good time laughing and after a good clean up, we were back home.

We are blessed to have families that love each other and to spend the holidays together is such a fun time!
