June is here. This means school is almost over and we are looking forward to summer vacation! The kids are counting down for the last of school! I'm excited for our summer together. The kids are growing up fast and Matthew will be working a full time job now! That means I'll be packing a big boys lunch now!
We are dry around here! Not much of any snow all winter. An extra warmer March. Chilly in April with only a few rain showers. May is dry and warming up. I've been faithfully watering our garden but the grass is too much to try to keep green and lush with just a sprinkler. We are wishing for rain showers!!! We need rain!!!!! Send it Lord, Jesus!!!!
June is the month of garden goodies! We are still eating lots of homegrown lettuce! The radishes are over but the broccoli and cauliflower are ready! Kale and spinach is cut! Strawberries are coming but Ill only get a few this year and hoping next years crop will be bountiful! Gardening is so much fun!
June is the end of school and the beginning of summer! That means lazy mornings, watering plants, playing outside, getting out the chore charts for things for the kids to do and going to the pool!
Happy June!
