The Hilton is huge and stunning and so beautiful!!!!
There is a small pastry shop just a walks down from the hotel that we got coffee and pastries each morning!
Something I saw on Pinterest and really hoped we could do in Venice was to go visit two islands. They are tourist attractions with great sites and sees! We decided to go! We hopped on another water taxi and off we went sailing to to Murano Island. Murano is known for making glass! They still make it there today and it's been in operation for many, many years.
We had a tour guide show us around and watched men heat up glass and make all kinds of things. Glass ornaments and lights and chandeliers and jewelry and vases .... just all kinds of things!
It was just a small island but the glass making performance was incredible!
Next we hopped on another water taxi and went to go see Burano Island.
This island is known for lace and it's where fisherman would live in colorful houses!!!!! This was such a cool little town!
We ate at a popular restaurant in the back patio.
They are known for biscuits. We've had so many gorgeous days and this was our first rain shower.
We were not too far away from the Leaning Tower of Pisa but we did not go see it. There was this leaning tower on the island though.

We took the water taxi over to the city one more time!
Found us some dinner along the street!
And it's time to pack up our bags and head back home tomorrow!
