Jeffrey, Jeremy's older brother, has arrived at our back door Thursday afternoon with his dad! I was cleaning back in the bedrooms and I heard Hadassah screaming. An exciting kind of scream! I knew that Jeff must have arrived! It didn't seem to take long at all to get acquainted again. The kids were off leaving Ben and I to chat a bit and then he was off to his work mission for the few days that they are in PA.
The kids played lots of 'cops and robbers' and enjoyed the 80 degree weather Thursday afternoon! Actually, Hadassah and Matthew had a double whammy yesterday. Having Jeff around was awesome and fun, but to top it off the Tennessee neighbor boys came for a visit too! Michael and Josh were up from TN and so all the kids got together! Our kids are not used to having neighbor kids around. (We live with fields surrounding us at all sides. Our closest neighbor is about a quarter mile away.) Michael and Josh walked down the road to meet our kids and the fun never stopped till supper time! I said to Hadassah, "Isn't this a lot of play guns and boys for you?" She said, "Yeah, but I don't mind!!!" As long as there is fun and excitement, Hadassah is thrilled! Even if it means she's the only girl in the group! (She still dressed herself in shorts, a tank top, and clip on earrings! Total howl!)
Thursday night we went to Mike's ballgame and because they lost, the Jaguars ball season is now over. When we came home we popped two bags of kettle popcorn and the kids snuggled in to watch "Dennis the Mennis" again. This seems to be the movie when we have visiting cousins! I'm not sure what time the lights went out, but it was late!
Friday the kids played a lot of Lego's and hung out with Jeffrey again. We went to the new ice cream parlor in town ... "The Good Scoop"!
It was fun having Jeffrey here! He left today and we have November to look forwards to to see them all again! "Love you Jeffrey!!!"
Here's the crew on Thursday ...
Eating Kettle Corn popcorn while watching "Dennis"...
This is when we went to the new ice cream parlor ... "Super Man Ice Cream & Double Dunker".
See you in November Jeff!!!
