We got our fill of wild life the other day! Mom Lapp planned a family outing to go to Lake Tobias and see all the animals. We all got into two vans and the kids were so ready to be there!
Here we are unloading wagons and strollers and getting set to go see all the animals!
The kids were intrigued right away with the lion and how it was growling at us!
We saw lots of birds and deer!
Even a few elk!
We took a bus tour through the fields and got to feed some of the animals popcorn and carrots.
Look at these nice elk!!!
Hunter was thrilled to feed a real elk!
Ashlyn was thrilled to feed a real elk too!!!
Wow, this is up close!!!
"Give me more."
For lunch, dear Mom Lapp made sandwiches for everyone and side foods!
We walked the park after lunch and got to see alligators.
Bear.
Tiger.
Zebra.
Parrots.
Prairie dogs and pigs.
Donkeys and ponies.
There was a petting zoo filled with goats, guinea pigs and a pony.
We went to the reptile show too but I didn't take any pictures of the snakes. They gross me out every time I see one!
Dad Lapp paid for our entire trip! Admission fee. Lunch. Safari ticket. And then ice cream on the way home!!! The whole day was filled with lots of walking, great sights and yummy foods! This was a fun family day!
The day was much more relaxing for me knowing that Austin was with Mim and Colson!!! Thank you so much Mim for caring for Austin!
