Easter.

 

April is here and there are lots of tree blooms right now!  It's so pretty!  The garden is just starting to show growth with the peas coming through the dirt and lettuce plants are growing!  Tulips are in bloom!  The grass needs cut and is green, green.

April also brings rain showers and rainbows!  We don't often see them in the west!

Over Easter Weekend, we went to the cabin again with some of my family!  We haven't been there since Christmas so we were all ready to play games in the cabin, see cousins at the cabin, eat good food at the cabin, look for deer sheds in the woods and ride all the toys with fast wheels!

Easter is all about the death and resurrection of Jesus!  Watching some of the Chosen episodes and reading in the Bible the details leading up to the cross is always the best way to remember what Jesus did for all sinners!  He died so we can live!  Live free!  Live eternal!  In heaven with Him some day if we believe and trust in HIM!

Easter weekend was also full of birthday celebrations!!!!  Gunnar turned one!  He's so cute!  Loves to eat!  Crawls, walks along furniture but not walking alone yet.  He has four little teeth!  Chubby cheeks and big brown eyes!  He's a very happy little boy! 

I made creamed eggs with warm biscuits and people loved it!

Hadassah took along party decorations!

The weather was perfect on Saturday to play outside and play pickleball but Sunday brought rains and cold weather.  The rainbow was so pretty in the sky!

We did this for the first time!  Cheesesteaks for dinner!  

Mike and Matthew were chopping away and made us good sandwiches!

Many eggs were hidden in the woods and around the cabin for the kids to find!  Ashlyn helped Gunnar find a basket full.

John and Mim and the boys gave Gunnar a Phillies jersey with his name and number 44 on it!  It's so cute!

Mike bought Gunnar a stuffed bison and tractor for his birthday!  He got some good gifts!

The boys had a blast together!

We came home from the cabin late Sunday night.  We hosted a birthday party for Gunnar and it's always a good time with the Petersheim family!  We are so blessed!
