Spring.

I love Spring time!  We are out of winter now and everything is bursting with buds, color and growth!  I am so amazed at the difference between one month.  There's a huge difference between March 15 to April 15.  We are having unusual warm temperatures for April some days and then back to frost a few days later.  I actually turned on the AC for a day last week.  It was 92 degrees outside.  Truly unusual!!!!

The park is full of color and fresh mulch and it's beautiful!

Matthew stopped in one night and I put him to work.  We planted ten peony plants!!!!

I love tulips and I grabbed these at Target last week and they are gorgeous!!!!!

We are back at the ballpark eating hot dogs and watching balls hit into the air!  It's so much fun!

Austin is playing for a team with a church league.  He's played in this since he was six years old and really loves it.  They had an opening, tournament style day for the players to meet each other and get excited for games to start later this spring!

I love seeing Mike coaching Austin's team and having fun together!

We participated in a Legacy Drive in memory of Carson and Annika Rollman.  What a long journey of grief it has been this past year for the Rollman family.  Please keep praying for them!  I can't imagine life without two children!

I also got to a few greenhouses last week and bought some Kimberly Queen ferns and white petunias!

Mike and I had dinner with friends and of course I had to order "The Worlds Smallest Sundae" for dessert!

Lena and I were in charge of Grandparents Day at school again this year.  We made 17 huge breakfast casseroles the day before and helped serve over 500 people at school on Wednesday.  What a day!!!!

Austin is also playing on a Spring baseball league this Spring and he's loving it!!!!  Many practices already and games played!

Such a great group of boys that are now friends to Austin!

The blooms outside the front door are outstanding right now!!!!  Everything is bursting with color!

On Saturday, PV had opening day for the baseball teams!  It was picture day, home run derby day and a game with Dad's VS Boys day!  The weather was perfect and warm!  Mike was in Florida and missed out but I was there with Austin and I loved watching him have so much fun!  We had a very dramatic moment in the morning when I told Austin to go get dressed for the game!  He could not find his jersey anywhere!  We looked in every closet, every drawer, behind things and in things and it was no where around.  We prayed we would find it!  Austin was in tears.  I was sweating because where could it be????  Finally, we found it behind his dresser drawer in the nick of time.  We grabbed our breakfast, ate on the way to the park and he was off to find his team.  Soon he came running back in tears saying he forgot his hat in his bedroom.  Good thing we don't live far at all from the park and as I was still unwinding from not knowing where his jersey was, I told him I would go quickly back home for his hat.  I wondered if I should go back to bed?  This was stressful!  I got back to the park in plenty of time for pictures and his game and he really had a good time!

Spring is in full swing!  Ashlyn is still in volleyball.  Austin is doing baseball.  Mike finished up taxes and evaluations at work and I'm over here trying to keep things together!  🤣

I love Spring time!
