F-A-L-L flare!

It's pumpkin season so we make pies!!!  These pumpkin custard pies are so yummy!

It's also the end of soccer season.  We can now take a deep breath before the next season of sports begin!!!

We just came back from a long weekend at the cabin!!!  It was so much fun to leave home on Wednesday knowing that we can spend the rest of the week and weekend at the cabin with my family!!!

Thursday was a gorgeous day in Clearfield.  Hadassah, Morgan and I made a quick trip to Walmart because its what we always do.  :)  Walmart isn't a store we buy a lot from but the Clearfield Walmart gets our visit every now and then.

The kids loved it outside.

Austin loved the cabin!!!  He loved it outside to.

The twins cared for Austin a lot!  I can't figure out why the computer won't download my pictures from the weekend, so I guess I'll just have to write about this event!  Fanny Lynn lost her phone in the cabin and we had an ALL out search party to find it!!!  Every single chair, couch, and piece of furniture got turned upside down and inside out!!!  The reward went up $100 to whom ever found her phone!!!!  It wasn't until Saturday night, when the basement got a major clean up that Megan found the lost phone!!!  Megan reached down deep into one of the basement chairs just to check again for the phone.  It had been checked twice already but she checked again and found it!!!  Fanny was so happy!!!  We cheered for Megan as she got her $100 reward!!!  She has been saying that she wants some hunting clothes and maybe now she can go buy her wishes!!!  Good job Megan!!!

Excitement to be with cousins for four days straight!

Shakia and Ashlyn.  Best of friends.

Cutie Pie Shaelyn!

We played lots and lots of "Panic"!!!

Mommy D. went along up to the cabin and I loved being able to spend some quality time together.

Baby Wyatt was so good the entire time!!!

Colson and Austin love books and it's a real riot seeing them grow up together.

Darling Olivia!

Golf cart rides were on the rare side since the hunters were in the woods.  But sitting on it counts for something!

Mommy D. was the dish washer for every meal.  And believe me when I say that we had a lot of dirty dishes!!!

We started out each day with a full blown out breakfast.  Then little for lunch and usually it was snacks.  Then another healthy meal for supper!

The big boys were in the woods hunting some.  The older kids had a blast playing "Scum" together.

Matthew was happy to have his daddy back!!!  Mike was in California from Wednesday - Friday.  Mike joined the cabin fun on Friday night.  Matthew went with John Mike out to the woods once but really couldn't wait to go with his dad for a walk down to the railroad tracks through the woods.  They saw a bear den.  They picked up some old railroad nails.  Time together was great for them!

I have this picture in my mind of the kids at a Christmas Tree Farm.  Or surrounded around pines.  Something Christmasy for my walls over the holidays!  Well, when I went for the kids and camera, Matthew was already out in the woods with my brother.  I wasn't gonna mess up no hunt just for some pictures, so I just took Austin and Ashlyn out to some pines.  This is some of what I took!

Austin is now 15 months old.  He is a total blast right now!!!  He grew up so much in the past three months.  He isn't so much a baby any more!!!  He is now a toddler!  He can say some words like "please", "thank you", "ball", "yeah", "no" ... etc.  We love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him!!!!

Ashlyn was not in the mood at all and when she finally got into taking some pictures, Austin was sick of it!!!  Sigh!

Ashlyn is five and in Kindergarten.  She loves her little brother so much!!!

Did you know that the holidays are just around the corner???  Christmas is only nine weeks away!!!

Austin loves my phone!!!  He knows how to look at photos all by himself.  It's totally adorable!!!

Ginger had a birthday!  She got to go along to the cabin this time and really did fine.  She is now six years old.

The cabin time was fun and relaxing!!!  Spending four days in the woods at a nice cabin was great!!!
