December is here and so is the hustle and bustle! December 1 comes fast right after Thanksgiving and now we suddenly have all these festivities that we want to do! Walking through our little town is one of them! It didn't suit all the kids this year to walk through with Mike and I but it was fun with those that did!

We got Skips food at the library and walked through the outside market they had going on! There were a lot of people here this year and it was fun! Austin decorated a gingerbread cookie!
We came back home with some goodies from town and Jeremiah and Ashlyn met us back home. Daisy was in NY with friends. We just hung out here at home for the night with the kids! It was such a fun day!
The tree this year may be a favorite!
The cold, winter walks at the park are happening still and seeing ice on the pond tells me winter is here.
The Chiefs are having a tough year and we gotta get some more wins!
Greenhouses are so lovely this time of year and I just love it when I get to stop in and smell the scents and see the beauty of Christmas!
Hadassah and I started thrifting together! It's been a real blast! Gunnar was banging on these toy drums as we stilled through Goodwill. The hat was silly and Hadassah was grossed out that I put it on his head!
But he had the customers smiling at him and he was having fun!
Sometimes you thrift and leave with nothing. This time it was a good day! I found some Christmas color sweaters in good shape! A fan that Ashlyn begged for last summer and all it needed was to be charged! I love the peppermint candy dish! But my favorite thing I found was the nativity set!!!!
It was in a small plastic bag. I picked it up and laid it back down. I went back again to see it out of the bag. I loved it! BUT, it's missing baby Jesus! The most important part! I bought it for $3.99 and hope to make a baby Jesus for the manger!
And most of these Christmas mugs have been thrifted! We love using these all December!
Is this too much? I don't mean to be disrespectful to our Lord and King! Does a lego man work?
The first week of December came and went so fast! It's time to finish up the gifts and get them wrapped! Stay warm!
