Back in Florida!!!

Wow!!!  It feels so good to be in the sunshine state once again.  It's been four years since we've been here and that's hard to believe because it's been the choice of vacation for our family ever since we've been married!  Mike and I both have grandparents that live in Florida over the winter months and now Mike's parents have a house here too.  With Mike's dad passing, Mom Lapp is now spending her first winter here without Dad and there's a huge hole missing with him not here but the sun is still shining and beach is still filled with white, white sand and the food has been amazing!

But just before we headed south, Matthew finished up his basketball season with playing in a basketball tournament at Conestoga Christian School.  They played hard and did well.

And at these sporting events, I always have these two jumping all around me.  It's a family event!

After a good nights rest, we packed up and headed south.

We decided to take a family vacation down here once again and so far it's been great!  We drove through the night on Saturday and got here first thing Sunday morning.  Austin did great and was in his car seat the entire time!!!  And that's a miracle because he doesn't like to travel that well.  He's been a challenge here though since we've arrived.  He's not sure where we are.  He keeps begging to go back home and sleep in his own bed.  Poor guy.  He also hates the beach.  I hoped that this would change once we got on the beach because he didn't like it this past summer when we visited the beach then too.  He hates sandy hands but when you are a kid that's hard to avoid when you are on the beach.  We are gonna give it another try today.

Monday morning, the guys went on a fishing trip.  Daudy King went along and Matthew caught the most fish.  Now we are hoping to have a fish fry on of these nights! 

Then the boys met us on the beach and on the way home we stopped in at our ever so famous Yogurtology place.  We loved this place years back and so we were so delighted to see they were still in business!!!  And, once again, it was delicious!!!

Hadassah is with us but she came with Lena back from the beach and so next time she will join us for the yummy treat!

And I have to say that Ashlyn got a bit sun burnt the first day!!!  I hate, hate sunburns and thought I had her lotioned good but I forgot, or thought I didn't need to, lotion her legs.  She's been ouching and whining the past two days now from sore legs.

The weather is in the 80's ever since we are here and just lovely!!!

My family is ready to head out to the beach and so I gotta get this short post wrapped up.  There will be lots more sandy pictures coming your way soon!!!
