February it is.

January went by quickly with the winter blusters still blowing.  The snow that blew yesterday melted today.  The winds did pick up and the tempts are to drop more tonight!  It will be a cold, cold night!

February has begun and that tells me that we are about half way through the winter.  Most years, I am thinking about the sunny south and getting our bags soon ready for a warm vacation.  But, not this year.  We are staying home to keep plans moving along with our house project.  And to save money for the renovations.  And, that makes me miss the sunny south even more when I think about it too much, so I have decided to keep thinking winter thoughts.  :/  With today being 'ground hog day', and even if the ground hog seen his shadow, winter will last as long as God gives us colder weather.  I wish to think that Spring will come sooner rather than later but if we get a big snow storm in the mean time, I'll take it.  Drinking hot drinks and playing games inside goes so well with snow storms.

February will be filled with more winter and more school sports.  Hadassah is almost done with basketball.  She's enjoyed it all!  We have one last week of basketball with only a few games left.  Valentines is coming up and Mike and I will do something to celebrate our love!  We will continue to wait for house permits and start the process of visiting cabinet shops.  :)  The more we think about the whole project thing ... the more we are thinking about moving out.  We thought that we would move into the basement and 'make do', but if the project is going to be messy, noisy, and go longer than we think, we should probably find another place to temporarily move.  If anyone knows or has a small house vacant, we might be interested!?!  It's on our prayer list!!!

I have to keep moving along here.  Spaghetti Taco's are on the menu for tonight and I must get to making preparations.  Stay warm!!!  Praise the Lord for warm homes and warm clothing.  For hot water, for hot dryers and for hot coffee!  He has showed His mercy on us and we are blessed.
