Wedding week!

Mike and I can hardly believe that our oldest is in wedding week mode and we are just trying to take one moment and one more family supper and make one more memory and times together and get every box packed up ... we are just trying to capture it all!!!!

We had so many people tell us that we are too young to be planning a wedding and have a daughter getting married.  We laugh and agree!  :). But we were both Hadassah and Jeremiah's age when we got married and we couldn't be happier with their choices for each other!  If you have babies when you are young, it may be that you are still young when your 'babies' get married!

Hadassah and I have been busy making wedding plans the past months and it's now time to get the last things accomplished!  One of the events was packing up Hadassah's belongings and moving it into their apartment.

On Monday, Hadassah and Jeremiah spent the day with the Petersheim Family touring Gettysburg.

Tuesday we did this ....

We packed, loaded up the Yukon and I helped her move!  She kept the bare necessities at home!

On Wednesday, we got our nails looking pretty for the wedding together!

All the while I cooked up a supper meal for the crew each night!  We've been setting the dinner table for seven people since April.  Jeremiah moved into their apartment in the Spring and he ate around our dinner table a lot since then!  I loved it!  The teens were buzzing in and out of the door!  The Littles were hanging out with cousins a lot this week so I could help Hadassah do final planning and move!  It meant so much that they could stay with Jody and Lena during the busy moments!

She follows him all around!  :). Mike brought home some wood to make a sign for the wedding entrance and Jeremiah assembled it!  Then Hadassah's friend Rita painted the words we wanted on the sign!

One of the wedding preparations was to put pictures in frames for the guest tables!  And wrap gifts for those in the wedding!

This night, we had buffet style and ate around the bar.

Mike and Matthew did get some golf in with the crazy week and they loved it!

It's June and the garden is looking great!  Kale is growing non stop!  The cabbage is ready all at once.  I picked the first zucchini and made bread with it!  So tasty!

Wedding week is here!!!!  I asked for extra grace and patience with the little ones and hubby!  I knew it would be crazy but fun!  Everyone chipped in with the house chores, wedding projects and moving!  It was a fun time!
