Wow! Time is flying by and it's already February and I barely said anything about January. I'm going to catch up here!!!
January gave us a few snow falls and no school days. The kids did virtual school and that means they still do school, just at home. We get emails from teachers and the work is to be completed by the next back to school day. Ashlyn does fine with this. Austin does not. It takes all day for me to get a few papers completed with him.
The birds love homemade suet! The puzzles are being worked on on these cold, wintery days!
Arie has really been a good dog around here! She's not ours but Jeremiah and Hadassah's German Shepherd. They could not have her at the apartment they lived at since they were married so we hosted her outside here at our house. They fed her, cared for her, played with her here ... really it was a huge commitment for them to stop in early mornings to feed her and play with her before work or after ballgames! I'm very impressed! Arie has a special place in the kids hearts by now and Mike is gonna wipe a tear one of these weeks when Hadassah takes her to their new home! Jeremiah and Hadassah bought a small home that they did a lot of work to the past few weeks and just moved in last weekend! Arie will be moving to their home soon. We will miss her!
"If it's cold, it may as well snow." It's the quote I've said for many years during the winter months. Snow is so beautiful! Winter is here.
