Fall is in the air.

The garden in the fall is beautiful.  Plants are finishing up their foods and I'm slowly cleaning and pulling out plants.  The cucumbers are finished and pulled out.  The tomatoes are now out of the garden as well.

The fall radishes are so big and beautiful!  I came inside with a sink full of fresh produce!

I already made salsa and canned it.  I also made fresh juice so I decided to roast these tomatoes.  I mixed them with herbs and garlic cloves and olive oil.  I roasted it in the oven and after it cooled, I blended everything together in the blender and it finished off with a lovely thick juice.  I used it for pizza and made tomato soup!

The dahlias in the garden are doing well too!  They love the cooler weather!

These little guys are munching away on the fennel in the garden!

Wednesday is the day that I usually go and visit Mommy D!  I love her so much!

My Aunt Linda invited all her nieces to her house for a dinner and memories that we have growing up together!  This was such a fun night.  I wasn't sure if I would make it because Ashlyn had a volleyball game and usually I watch Gunnar at games because Hadassah coaches but Jeremiah was at the game and I decided to join my cousins!  The food was great but the laughs and stories were even better!  The Riehl family is such a blast!!!!!

And we also had a Dienner reunion that next Sunday.  Seeing so many cousins and being with family is such a blessing!  The boys fished at Uncle Alvins while the dads played pickle ball.  Family gathered to eat and everyone was spoiled with yummy desserts.  Aunt Ruth had some of Daudy and Mommy D's favorites for everyone to take along home.  She's the most thoughtful person I know!

Baby Gunnar is growing and is adorable!!!!!  He is rolling over from his belly to his back.  He loves to jump in the Johnny Jump!  He is so adorable!

Tragic news of Charlie Kirk is everywhere.  I didn't know who Charlie was but the whole world knows now!  He was the founder of Turning Point USA and a dynamic person in this world for Jesus!  He went to youth campus's and colleges to talk to kids about their beliefs.  He spoke out for truth!!!  Walking at the park and seeing the flag at half staff makes me so sad for his wife Erica and their two dear children.

It was just Austin and I for dinner one night and we decided to go get our favorites at Agape!  He was so happy to see this ginormous waffle for him to enjoy!

My closet colors are changing with the season!

And the fresh flowers are looking more and more like fall time!

Mike and I were invited to a corn hole tournament and dinner with Matt and Lena.  Mike and I are not the best at this game but we had fun!

Mike was trying to play corn hole and watch the Chiefs at the same time!  Let's go boys!  Let's get it together.

Austin loves his ballgame days!

I had peppers in the fridge that I picked from the garden and needed to can them.  We love these sweet pepper strips.

Thank you Target ... I think I will!

Ashlyn is hot and heavy into her volleyball games too!

I stopped at my moms and we looked at her dahlias and she said to bring some along home!  Isn't this beautiful!  Adding lilacs and eucalyptus and zinnias ... it all makes a great bouquet!

I finished up this book and dropped it off at the library.  The next time I go to any kind of art gallery, I will have a new perspective.  This was a good read!

September is moving right along!

Fall is in the air!

I love it!
