Summer night at Cowtown Rodeo.

Brother LaVern and his family went to Cowtown Rodeo the other weekend and when they said how much they loved it, we decided to go the next weekend!  It was a last minute trip but my parents and brother John and his family went with us too!!!!  As we found seats and bought some rodeo kind of foods, mom said that LaVerns are coming again!  What a blast!

Cotton Candy is one of those rodeo foods that the kids love!

Here are the kiddoes that loved the rodeo!!!

The boys just loved all the horses and cows and bull riding!

Warren won a teeshirt.  It might fit him in 2055????

Wearing our plaids!

Popcorn ... another rodeo favorite!

Love of my life!!!!

One of the things I loved the must about the whole event was that it reminded me of when I was a kid!  Before electronics and gadgets and big splashy screens everywhere!  Here at Cowtown ... it was simple.  So simple that the tickets we had we were told to through them in a big bucket.  The foods we bought were only paid by cash. The menu was hand written.  No assigned seating.  You picked a hard bench row and claimed it yours for the night! So simple.  And the opening prayer was awesome!  This night was such fun!

These two are best of chums!!!!

Just having a blast!

Like I was saying, the night reminded me once again before the phones and gadgets were a part of life.

Rope those cows!

Thanks to dad for providing all our rodeo tickets!  This was a really fun night!
