Coming out of a full wedding week, we still had baseball to finish up! The night of Matthew's wedding, Austin helped his team win a game which took them into the final, final game on Saturday! We were so tired from the wedding, we slept in on Saturday, refreshed and went to the park to watch the Flames play their final game against the Rookies. The Flames WON!!! They finished in first place!
Mike was the Flames pitcher for every game! Austin played first base like a nine year old pro!!!! He worked so hard this year with swing bats every day and hitting 50 balls off the tee every day! All his hard work payed off!!!! What a great season these two had together!
These boys were so proud of their game! They were losing by a few runs and came back to win it with two outs!!!! It was crazy fun!
So that wrapped up the playing season but the trophies and awards were handed out the next Monday night. The Flames came out ready to get their award! There was a bad storm brewing in the air, so things had to go fast!!! The boys got their trophies, posed for a photo and we ran off to our vehicles just before the rains came!!!!
