Ashlyn joined a volleyball league. The girls play outside and it's great practice for them!!!!
We got to spend a few days at the pool so far! We've had lots of rain showers and thunderstorms so on a sunny day, we sit poolside!
Gunnar does great and Mike came to say hello after a round of golf!!!!

I finished up a book and picked up this devotional! I'm trying to read more and even though I didn't nearly always read a chapter a day, I made it through another read!
The Flames made it to playoffs! They marched themselves right off to Ritas! This group of boys has been so fun to watch! They improved! They work hard and the most effective talent each one has is that they listen up when the coaches talk! So many dads of these boys played baseball years ago together and understand the game so well! When the boys listen to the advice they are given, it brings talent! So many were determined to play their best!!!! I'm so proud of these boys!
The projects are getting completed!!!! Austin mowed Matthews yard while we helped clean house windows and clean up the garage and house!!!! Wedding day is coming soon! Jeremiah got started on the tile in the kitchen as backsplash!
We grabbed supper at the local park and came home to watch the Phillies!!!!
June is hot and wet! The grass is so green! The weeds are out of control! The garden is thriving!!!!
Everything is dripping wet after yet another rain shower!
I plant peas for the kids! They love to visit the garden and pick and eat!
Austin will miss this so much! He can't wait for Matthew or Mike to come home from work. Whoever gets home first grabs a glove and plays some catch! Austin found some bats at Goodwill and was showing them to Matthew!
I also snagged this Christmas dinner set for a good price!!!
VBS was all week and we highly enjoyed the drama shows each night! Our youth did a great job!!!! The kids also enjoyed VBS! It's high energy and the place was full of children!!!!!
Gunnar and Austin was just too cute!!!! Gunnar is almost three months old!

I'm not kidding when I say it's wet! The park has puddles. The plants will not survive if the wetness continues like this!

This is my reminder to take one day at a time with the kids at home! School has been out for a month now. We are sleeping in. We don't have much planned for our days. And today, all Austin wanted to do was a gadget. Watch sports or a movie. I get so tired of pulling them away from gadgets and they need to learn to get creative. We tried to get Ashlyn a job this summer but I realized that the days she is gone, Austin is extra bored of course. So, we are making this one more summer with the two of them mostly at home. Being siblings. Being friends! It's OK!!!!
We watched Matthew load up his truck as his groomsmen met to leave for a bachelor party. They headed to the cabin! It was fun to see Tim once again and these boys are gonna have a blast!
I've mentioned often to have the swing set moved to the back yard and it was accomplished on wedding week! Isn't that how it goes? You have extra things going on and you add even more projects!!!!

The first day of summer is here!!!! We spent the day at the pool! We saw a rainbow in the sky after another rain shower. We are having rain every day at some point. It's been so wet!
Mike and I swung by Vibes Juice Bar to try their juice and it's so yummy!!!!!
