2016 Class mountains trip ...

We just spent the last 2 1/2 days with all teenagers.  It went well, but both Mike and I came home totally exhausted!  :)

Billy and Wilma and Mike and I were the two families that went along with the Class of 2016 to Perry County.  We met Sunday afternoon at 2:45 at Billy and Wilma's house.  The kids were dropped off one by one and we started loading up all the bags and sleeping bags and pillows and skateboards and food and drinks and snacks into the van and truck.  We had a work out before ever leaving the parking lot!  :)  Each adult had to drive to provide enough transportation for everyone.

Billy cooked up chicken and wings and we added fruit and veggies for supper.  The kids loved the volleyball court and made of it the entire time!  There was also some basketball played, time at the creek, a game of kick ball and skateboarding.

We invited Dante to go along and be a friend for Matthew.  These two have so, SO much fun together and the minute we were arrived at the cabin, they were off to hunt and fish and explore the woods.  The shot a baby raccoon and a chipmunk.  No fish were caught.  They picked two big cups of wild berries and ate every single one.  Their faces were all purple from berry juice.  :)  We told the kids that by 1 AM boys and girls would need to be separated and off to bed.  Matthew and Dante were up until then too.  Thanks for going along Dante!

Austin loved the lollie pops!  Let's just say his momma was happy when they were all eaten!!!  :)

Mike had a birthday up there on Monday.  He celebrated 39 years of life!!!  I bought a slice of cheesecake, put a candle on top and we sang happy birthday to him!!!  We hope to celebrate a little more elaborate later this week!!!  :)

We took the whole class out to town for ice cream on Monday night.  This was a fun highlight!!!  Tons of ice cream got scooped!  We ride out to town and back was fun!  :)  When you have 19 kids out for ice cream, it's gonna be a riot!  :)

Austin was climbing on the dog food stored outside the ice cream shop and he was loving the attention!  :)

Yummy milkshakes was on the menu too!

 CLASS OF 2016!!!

~ Perry County!

These four just tug along with the older kids.  :)  They had a blast too!

We got drenched in rain right before heading home!!!  It was good that all the luggage was already loaded!  The drive home was a bit stressful because Austin was a mess.  :)  Poor Katrina took on the job to be his entertainment.  :)  Thanks girl!

Mike and I were totally exhausted by the time we had things unloaded and cleaned up back home!!!  The weekend was fun, tiring and we are so proud to be part of these great teenagers lives!!!  They really are great kids from wonderful families!!!  Thanks kids for making the weekend a fun time!!!
