Wet suits!

We spent another fun few hours swimming at Marlene's pool yesterday.  The kids always have fun when we are with the Lapps!

We got there around noon and it didn't take us long to all get into the water.  The sun was out and it was hot!  Austin was soon ready for a nap and that's when I got to relax a bit more!  Ashlyn is swimming well with her puddle jumper on!  She likes and the water and does a great job at swimming by herself!  Matthew, Alyssa and Sierra stacked rafts on top of each other and made a small hide out in the pool.  Then they ate watermelon under the rafts!  :)  Hadassah swam and sat with us moms as we chatted about life!  She has entered the stage that adult talk is sometimes more appealing than hanging out with the younger crowd.  :)

Lena and her boys were at Marlene's too.  Hunter and Adrian both liked the water.  Swimming with cousins is always such fun for the kids!  They would swim and then go for a jeep ride.  Then come swim again.  Then go to the swing or trampoline.  Then swim again.  Isn't the summer life the best??!!!  We are so blessed to have healthy bodies and warm sunny days to fill us with vitamin A, B, C & D!

Eating watermelon pool side is perfect!!!

Ashlyn ..................... Hunter.

The kids are under the rafts eating watermelon!  Again, perfect!

Jessica and Colson have become such great friends to our children!

Alyssa, Sierra and Matthew were wet ducks all afternoon.  Well, until it started to rain.  :(  After two hours of sunshine, the clouds rolled in and a thunderstorm rained on our parade.  It was all fun while it lasted.  We sat under the roof for awhile to see if it was going to just blow by but we ended up packing up our bags in the rain and coming back home.

Of course we have to have a crazy picture.

Thanks so much again Marlene for letting us come over for a swim!  We will miss this place when you move but maybe then we will have to find a pool somewhere in between our homes and still make splashes together!  :)

Summer pool days are the best!!!
