Basketball MVP!!!

Ending Matthew's basketball season with getting the MVP Award was so exciting!!!  He listened to dad and practiced shooting hoops every day and it paid off!!!  Matthew was really good and a great assess to his team!

The Conestoga Tournament was fun to watch once again.  There are many basketball games played.  The Linville Boys lost their first game but then finished with a win!!!  The game was so close and every second counted in this game!!!  We won by one point!!!  Great job boys!!!

This is a huge award to Matthew!!! He was so happy!  Great job, Matt!!!

Now, we take a deep, hopefully long, break from having two practises a week plus games!  It's all fun in the season with each sport but I do like the few weeks of a break!  It makes for some crazy supper schedules and going from Matthew's games to Hadassah's games was sometimes very busy!  The little ones went along for the most part.  Austin loved to cheer for them and Ashlyn always had friends to play with!

One thing I will not miss is this!  So often Matthew would be searching for his shorts and shirt the morning of game day!!!  I got so tired of him looking at me for help because his clothes were no where to be found!  I've said so, so many times ... "If it's in the wash, I washed and folded it.  Look in the laundry room!"  We've been on searches already throughout the house.  "Look in your room.  Maybe I thought it was Hadassah's???  Is it in your backpack?  Did you check the lost and found at school???"  Somehow it always turned up!!!

Hadassah could not be at Matthew's tournament yesterday because she had a basketball her herself!  Then she was off to play volleyball yet.  She was so proud of Matthew's award!!!

So, for a few weeks of 'no sports', baseball will be starting up before we know it!!!  At least, that usually means warmer weather is starting to arrive and we can be outdoors once again!!!  We do have a few more games for Hadassah coming up in the next few days!!!  We do love to cheer on the kids teams!!!

Great job, Matthew!!!
