"50's Friends"

Out of one, fun 50's themed party, came about a group of friends that we now call ourselves the "50's group".  Two years ago we all dressed up in 50's attire and met at Bryan's for dinner and a night of fun games and laughter.  It was a blast.  Now, we still get together randomly and do fun things.  On Friday night, we celebrated Uncle John King's birthday with this group.  Kathy planned for us to all meet at the Escape Rooms and do the "50's Diner Room".  How fitting and what fun!

The Escape Rooms are a place of entertainment that you go as a group and you get put in a room with lots of clues throughout.  We had one hour to figure out one clue that lead to the next clue.  We started off by turning on the lights in the room (which looked like a 50's dinner).  On the light switches were clues that we used to unlock a lock.  Then that lead us to another clue and so forth.  I think we all thought that we would finish all the clues in an hour but some of them were really tough and had us scratching our minds for more clues.  Our time was up and we still had two more clues to finish.  It was a team effort and we had a great time.

Then we all went to JB Dawson's for appetizers/desserts.  Mike and I had already eaten at the Smokehouse before going to the Escape Rooms so we got dessert.  Again, the time went by quickly and the restaurant was waiting for us to finish up so they could close.  We just have a wonderful time again with these friends and I'm positive that we will always and forever laugh when we are with them!

Thanks everyone for the fun night!  And a big shout out to our in house baby sitters, Hadassah and Matthew, for watching the little ones at home!!!

Happy Birthday John!
