It's February!

It's February already but I am totally fine with that!!!  Let's let the winter months go by quickly ... and bring on spring and summer!!!

February is usually the month that seems the longest during the winter.  That's why it's usually the month we pick to go south or somewhere warm for a few weeks.  But not this winter.  We are going to stick out the cold.  I am so grateful for the sunny sunshine today!!!  With the weather to be in the 40's, the snow is melting!  We are seeing more and more of our torn up grass.  It makes for a muddy mess around our house!  I will be so ready for new grass to be sown and front walks put in!!!  :)  Every time we leave Ginger outside, we have to wipe her paws when she comes back inside.  Or she would leave a trail of muddy paw prints all over the floor.

February is also the Valentine month.  :)  Mike and I love sharing hearts and kisses!  I love seeing it in the shopping malls and stores!  Red hearts and pink kisses are everywhere.  It's another great reminder of great our marriage is and how blessed we are to have each other to love!  It's also the month where we seem to eat extra chocolates.  :)  We made Valentine reservations at Cork and Cap again for our buddies!  We will miss Dave and Suz this year but the rest of us are super excited to have the upper room reserved again!  We simply don't get together enough as friends and so I'm so happy to have this planned!!!

Super Bowl is coming up - this weekend!  To watch the big game with friends is the best way to have a party!  We are always last minute at planning.  Not sure if we will host or go somewhere else to watch the game???

==========================

This past weekend was a fun one again!  We were blessed at church once again with a message from a young man from Tajikistan.  Ryan and Tyler were here for whole weekend while Tony's were in Ohio.  Cousins came over for Sunday lunch and then we all went to a birthday party for Hunter and Adrian.

Sunday after church, Hadassah got invited to a girlfriends house for lunch.  I said "no" at first because I knew Rosie and the boys were coming to our house for lunch.  Plus, Ryan and Tyler were there too.  Hadassah didn't want to hear it!  She was more into being with girls than her boy cousins.  So, we said she could go for lunch and then we would pick her up later that afternoon.  I guess we are entering the stage "gotta be with my girlfriends, Mom"!!!  :)  We are so happy that Hadassah has great church friends!

So, the boys all went outside after lunch and built snow forts and threw snowballs at each other.  What a blast to watch!  Mike snuck behind them and started throwing lots of snowballs at them all!!!  It didn't take them long to all gang up on him!  He came inside all puffed out from running away from the boys!  :)

Most of this snow will probably be all melted soon.  It was sure was fun and we love making snow memories!!!

Welcome ... month of love, hearts, Valentines, red and pink and more winter!!!
