Spring is blooming!

The trees in the front yard are in full bloom!  The saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers."  Well, we've not had much of any snow this past winter and our spring is on the dry side.  I remember when it just seemed like one rainy April day after the next but not this year.  So, when the rains do come and a rainbow is outside, we stop and pause!  It's so refreshing and what a promise from God to never flood the earth again!

The lilac bush in the back of the house is in full bloom and so pretty!

We had a day of us sisters going to greenhouses!  This time we went to Farmstead Flowers and Cocalio Creek Greenhouse.  They were filled with beautiful flowers!

We bought a few! 😂
Then we stopped at a little shop for lunch called Wired Cup!  So delicious!

I like to come home and get the flowers in pots right away.  It's still on the cool side to place the pots outside, so I'll keep the tender plants inside just a bit longer yet.

And it's formal time for the Juniors and Seniors!  Matthew rented John Ervins car for his ride and enjoyed the evening escorting Daisy!  What a fun night for all these kids!

And going to the Gospel Express events last weekend was fun!  I love auctions and so I was looking forward to being at the sale!  Then Saturday evening, I took the kids over to the tent and we listened to the singers.  The Miller Family is such a good group to listen too!  I was thrilled when Matthew joined us for food and worship!

Sunday we dusted off the Settlers game at Mom Lapps!  What fun it was to play this again!!!!  Austin was excited to ride James and Javons new four wheeler!  Many memories are made around this home!

And the park is looking good this Spring!  I did grab my beanie and jacket for our morning walk this week but hopefully one of these days, it will warm up and stay warm!

Spring is so full of blessings, growth, new growth, seeds, plants and flowers!  This world can be a lovely place to live if you look on the bright and sunny side of life!
