"Zoey"

Our puppy is growing.  She's 3 weeks old.  Her eyes are open and she's beginning to move around more and more.  She has this quit whine of a bark.  She weighs 1 lb. and 4 oz..  She's mostly black with a touch of brown and white.  The kids are adoring her so much and I know the next few weeks will be filled with holding her and playing with her. 

Here are some cute puppy moments we had so far ...

 

Ashlyn loves to sit in the little baby pool where Zoey sleeps.  I walked past the other day and saw this.  Ashlyn laid her blanket down for Zoey and the puppy fell fast asleep on it.  :)  Every now and then I will hear Ashlyn say, "Put back."  I then know that she was holding the puppy and is now putting her back.  She's so loving with the puppy and holds her so tight that the other kids are sure she's going to squeeze it too hard!  :)

 

Puppies are great fun!  We are happy for our one cute puppy!
