Cherry Crest Adventure Farm!!!!

What a fun day!!!!!  We've been having such wonderful fall weather and I kept thinking about the family pack of tickets we still had to use up for Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.  After waking up to a beautiful sunrise and seeing the day will be filled with sunshine, I mentioned about going to the farm!?!  Mike had planned on working at home and then golfing with Matthew but we decided to go and make the most of it!  Matthew went to clean out the car wash vacuums and Hadassah was cleaning.  Mike and I took the two youngest to the farm and when we arrived, it was packed out!  Here we learned that they were having their pumpkin fest and I think it may even have been their last opening day for the season.?.  We walked in, showed our tickets and off we went to explore the farm!  Mike loved it and it was his first time visiting.

We walked along and did the games and activities as they came.  Always love the sling shots!

It didn't take us long to figure out that the farm must have an over abundance of pumpkins because here you could go pick out some pumpkins, give them to the guys on the lift, and they would throw it down and watch it splat!

The kids loved the activity to actually smash pumpkins!!!

Ashlyn carved out her very first pumpkin!  I remember doing this with Hadassah and Matthew but I guess I never did it with these two?  Ashlyn did a great job and entered the contest for the best carved out pumpkin.  Austin was totally grossed out and was not going to dig out his pumpkin seeds and guts.  No way!!!!

This was a fun game!!!!  Throw a pumpkin and see if you can make it stick on the board!

Paradise Fire Company was there and so of course Austin asked to wear the hat!  They made the best pumpkin chili too!!!  Yum, yum!!!!

There was a field of sunflowers that we could pick flowers if we wanted to pay a few bucks.  Instead, we just gazed and dreamed in the field!!!!  I love sunflower fields!!!!!

There was a "tiny town" section!  Meet the postmaster!!!!!!

One game you would put pumpkin seeds in your mouth and try to spit them into pumpkins.  Austin wanted to try but he stuck his whole handful of pumpkins into his mouth at one time.  Not really the best way to spit!

Pumpkin Princess!!!!

Pumpkin golf and pumpkin bowling!

Finished projects!

Fashion Cents had customer appreciation day on Saturday too and I promised the kids we would go get face painting done!

They day ended up being longer at the farm and Mike left early to still golf with Matthew.  The kids had a real blast!!!  Thank you Cherry Crest Adventure Farm for the fun events!!!!!

Mike said, "We should make this a fall tradition!!!"

We love fall!  We love making new traditions!  We love a fun time out with the kids!!!!
